About this policy
Elara Spatial, Inc. ("Elara Spatial," "we," "us," or "our") builds computer vision and spatial AI tools that help property insurers document and review claims. We respect the privacy of our customers, users, and visitors. This Website Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
This policy applies when you visit our website at elaraspatial.ai, submit an inquiry through our contact form, sign up for updates, or otherwise correspond with us about our business.
It does not cover our claims platform. If an insurance carrier is using our platform on your property insurance claim – whether you are the policyholder asked to take photos of the damage or an insurance professional using the platform – our separate Platform Privacy Policy applies instead.
By using our website, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information we collect on our website
Information you give us
- Contact form. When you submit an inquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, work email address, company, role or title, the reason for your inquiry, and any message you choose to include.
- Correspondence. If you email us or respond to an inquiry from us, we keep that correspondence.
- Other email sign-ups. If you give us your email address elsewhere on our website (for example, to receive our newsletter or updates), we collect it for that purpose.
Information we collect automatically
- Technical data. URL and IP address data, the page that referred you to our website, your browser type, operating system, and device type, and your approximate location (country, region, and city) based on your IP address.
- Usage data. The pages you view and certain actions you take, such as clicking “Request a Demo,” collected through the analytics tools described in section 2.
- Security signals. To protect our website from spam, fraud, and automated abuse, we collect technical browser and device signals on our contact page. We use these signals strictly for security assessment.
We may also receive information about you from external sources and third parties.
2. Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies
A cookie is a small file containing a string of characters that is sent to your browser when you visit a website. When you visit again, the cookie allows the website to recognize your browser or device. Cookies may store your preferences and other information, which saves you time by letting the website remember choices you made in the past.
We use privacy-focused analytics and performance tools from our hosting provider to measure how our website is used and how quickly it loads. These tools do not use tracking cookies or collect the details you submit through our forms; they record information such as the pages viewed, the referring page, and your browser, device type, and approximate location. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for a short period to operate and secure our website.
Some pages include an embedded video hosted by YouTube. The video does not load until you press play; when it does, YouTube (Google) receives information such as your IP address and browser details and may use cookies or similar technologies, under its own privacy policy.
You can generally decide whether to accept, block, or reject cookies through your browser or device settings, but we are not responsible for making this selection for you. If you reject cookies, you can still use our website, but some functionality may be restricted. For more information on how cookies work and how to control them, visit www.allaboutcookies.org. We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals (see section 12).
3. How we use website information
We use the information described in this policy to:
- Respond to your inquiries and support requests.
- Protect our website and services against spam, bots, fraud, and abuse.
- Measure how our website is used, and administer, improve, and develop our website and services.
- Send administrative emails, such as a reply to a request you made or a notice about this policy.
- Send promotional emails, including newsletters or updates about our products and services, if you sign up for them or ask to receive them. We do not add an email address submitted through our website contact form to our marketing list unless you specifically request it. You can opt out at any time by following the "unsubscribe" instructions in any such email.
- Tailor advertising through third-party services, so that people who may be interested in our products or services see advertising about them.
- Create Aggregated Data, as described in section 7.
The administrative and promotional email provisions above apply only to our website. They do not apply to the email addresses of policyholders provided by a claims adjuster, which we use only to send emails required to process the claim (see our Platform Privacy Policy).
4. How we share website information
We do not sell or rent the information we collect on our website, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only:
- With service providers that host our website, provide analytics and security services, send email on our behalf, or otherwise support our business. These providers may use your information only to provide services to us, under the terms described in section 6.
- With third-party advertising services, to the extent we tailor advertising as described in section 3.
- In the other circumstances described in section 6 (for example, with our affiliates, in a business transaction, or when the law requires it).
5. Your choices
- Marketing email. Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or email privacy@elaraspatial.ai.
- Cookies. Control cookies through your browser or device settings (section 2).
- Your information. To access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, see section 11 (Your rights).
6. Other circumstances in which we share information
In addition to the sharing described in section 4, we may share information we collect about you in the circumstances below.
- With your consent, when you have agreed to us sharing or disclosing your information.
- With our affiliates: a parent company, subsidiary, joint venture, or other entity under common control with us, in order to achieve any of the purposes described in this policy.
- In a business transaction. Subject to the terms of a confidentiality agreement, in connection with, and for the purposes of, a business deal (or negotiation of a business deal) involving the sale or transfer of all or part of our business or assets, including any merger, financing, acquisition, or bankruptcy proceeding.
- With contractors. With a third-party contractor engaged to provide management, administrative, data collection, marketing, or other support services on our behalf (a "Contractor") that needs access to information we collect under this policy. We generally enter into an agreement with each Contractor that limits its use of the information to the minimum necessary to perform the services we have engaged it for; requires it to report any suspected or actual security breach or other incident involving the information to us; and requires it to adhere to the same level of privacy requirements that apply to us under applicable law. By using our website, you consent to our sharing your information with Contractors and to their use of it in accordance with applicable law, this policy, and the other terms that apply to our website.
- For security. To detect, prevent, or otherwise address security, fraud, or technical issues.
- For safety. To ensure the personal safety of any individual, including our staff members or job applicants, platform users, or members of the public.
- For legal reasons. To the extent required to comply with legal obligations, processes, or requests; to enforce our policies, contracts, and agreements (including this policy); or to protect or defend our legal rights.
We (including our individual staff members) will not use your information beyond the minimum amount and scope necessary to achieve the purposes described in this policy without first obtaining your consent.
7. Aggregated Data
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may create statistical, de-identified, anonymized, or aggregated data (collectively, "Aggregated Data") relating to our users, our website, and our platform, and use it for analytical, research, or any other legal purpose. Aggregated Data includes data derived from your information, and data we collect from other sources, that has been anonymized so that it does not relate to, and could not reasonably be used to identify, any individual. We may disclose Aggregated Data that does not contain identifiable information to third parties for any legal purpose, in our sole discretion.
8. Security
We use appropriate, commercially reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures and security precautions, including encryption technology, to protect your information. However, no data transmission over the Internet or method of encryption can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and we are not responsible for the actions of hackers or other unauthorized third parties that breach our reasonable security procedures.
Where feasible, we use masking or access controls to limit unnecessary collection of personal information.
9. How long we keep information
Unless you ask us to delete your information sooner, we keep it until we determine, in our sole discretion, that (1) it is no longer necessary for any purpose for which we may use it under this policy, and (2) it may be destroyed or deleted in accordance with applicable law.
10. Children
Our website is not intended for users under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will endeavor to delete that information promptly.
11. Your rights
Access and correction. To the best of our ability and in accordance with applicable law, we will allow you to access, review, correct, or add to the information we hold about you. To make a request, contact us at the email address at the end of this policy. We will make our best efforts to process your request promptly. We may ask you follow-up questions before processing your request, to confirm your identity and the specific information involved, in accordance with applicable law.
Deletion. If you would like your information permanently removed from our records, contact us at the email address at the end of this policy. We may still contact individuals who have requested removal for administrative purposes. Removal may take some time to complete and may be subject to certain restrictions, consistent with applicable law. Removing your information will not necessarily remove records of past transactions or information stored in our data archives. Aggregated Data is not subject to removal requests.
12. California residents
We do not currently honor "Do Not Track" browser signals. California residents with an established business relationship with us may request that we not disclose their personal information to third parties for the third parties' direct marketing purposes; to make this request, contact us at the email address at the end of this policy.
13. Third-party sites and services
Our website may contain links to other websites, cookies, or other materials from, or operated by, third parties. Their information practices and privacy policies may differ from ours. We are not responsible for the actions or omissions of any third party. This policy applies only to information that we collect.
